Braised Blue is a food blog that aims to educate, entertain and communicate my love for food, wine and spirits. But nothing can ever just be that simple. The extension of Braised Blue into different mediums and endeavours will continue and hopefully you will hop on for the ride.
About two years ago I started Braised Blue. I was working in Calgary selling world class wines when life steered me back to my home in Amherstburg, Ontario. In the past two years I started a business, created this blog and wrote a book. Braised Blue is a food blog that also encompasses my other interests such as photography, popular culture, politics, and sport. Along with Hogshead Consulting I have created relationships with local eateries and wineries in the Windsor and Essex Country regain and beyond.
In 2013 I released my first book Braised Blue: Year One which is available here. And directly from me. Braised Blue: Year One recounts the first year of my life as a heartbroken blogger returned home to start his life anew. With hundreds of recipes, essays on food, wine and whisky, Braised Blue: Year One is a truly unique take on cookbooks and memoirs.
In 2014 BraisedBlue2You started as a catering and private chef service. I am available for all kinds of small events and intimate dinners.
